MS Dhoni’s contribution to Indian cricket is unmissable as he was the rock which stood between Indian team and defeat. He single handed won dozens of matches and under his captaincy, Indian created team was undefeated and ranked 1st in ODI, TEST, and T20.
His career state is stunning and it speaks for itself. He never played to make a score but only to win the match for the country. He has given up so many chances to make records just because he was too focused to win. Who would have thought the person who gets run out in his debut match become the best person to score running between the wicket. He is known to steal runs under the nose of players and bowlers when he batted.
He has played 318 ODI and scored 9967 runs in the strike rate of 88.4 and in T20 he has scored 1444 runs in 89 matches with a whopping strike rate of 126. He doesn’t have much of records while playing in any format because of his batting position. But under his captaincy, Indian cricket team has won the T20 world cup and World cup of 2011, which was the most memorable when he hits the six to win the game. It was known to be one of the best moment in the history of Indian cricket.
